About Swiss Franc / Singapore Dollar
CHF/SGD is the exchange rate between the Swiss franc and the Singapore dollar. The price shows how many Singapore dollars one Swiss franc buys: when CHFSGD rises, the Swiss franc is strengthening against the Singapore dollar; when it falls, it is weakening.
CHF/SGD is a minor or exotic cross, so it usually trades with less liquidity and wider spreads than the majors and can move sharply around local news. The Swiss franc is backed by Switzerland's stable economy and is widely treated as a safe-haven currency. The Singapore dollar is managed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore against a basket of trading-partner currencies rather than through an interest-rate target.
On Xellion's MT5 platform CHFSGD is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 Swiss francs; the pip size and value are shown in the MT5 contract specification.

CHFSGD questions
What does the CHFSGD price mean?
It is the number of Singapore dollars needed to buy one Swiss franc. A rising price means the Swiss franc is gaining against the Singapore dollar; a falling price means it is losing ground.
When is CHFSGD most active?
CHFSGD trades around the clock on weekdays, but it is usually busiest during the Tokyo and London sessions, and especially in the hours when the two sessions overlap. The forex market hours tool shows those sessions in your local time.
How much is one pip worth on CHFSGD?
Pip value on CHFSGD depends on the pip size in the MT5 contract specification and on the Singapore dollar exchange rate against your account currency. Because Singapore dollars are converted into your account currency, the value per pip changes as that rate moves.
How much margin do I need for one lot of CHFSGD?
Margin is the position value divided by your leverage. One lot is 100,000 Swiss francs, so at 1:500 you need 200 CHF and at 1:100 you need 1,000 CHF, converted into your account currency. Leverage up to 1:2000 is available depending on your account; the margin calculator gives the exact figure.
