About Euro / Swiss Franc
EUR/CHF is the exchange rate between the euro and the Swiss franc. The price shows how many Swiss francs one euro buys: when EURCHF rises, the euro is strengthening against the Swiss franc; when it falls, it is weakening.
EUR/CHF is a cross pair: neither side is the US dollar, so its price reflects the balance between the euro area and Switzerland directly. The euro is the shared currency of the euro-area countries and is the second most widely held reserve currency. The Swiss franc is backed by Switzerland's stable economy and is widely treated as a safe-haven currency.
On Xellion's MT5 platform EURCHF is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 euros, and one pip is 0.0001.

EURCHF questions
What does the EURCHF price mean?
It is the number of Swiss francs needed to buy one euro. A rising price means the euro is gaining against the Swiss franc; a falling price means it is losing ground.
When is EURCHF most active?
Like all major FX pairs, EURCHF trades around the clock on weekdays, but it is usually busiest during the London session, when markets for both currencies are open.
How much is one pip worth on EURCHF?
A pip on EURCHF is 0.0001. On one standard lot of 100,000 euros that is 10 CHF per pip, converted into your account currency. The pip calculator works it out for any lot size.
How much margin do I need for one lot of EURCHF?
Margin is the position value divided by your leverage. One lot is 100,000 euros, so at 1:500 you need 200 EUR and at 1:100 you need 1,000 EUR, converted into your account currency. Leverage up to 1:2000 is available depending on your account; the margin calculator gives the exact figure.
