About Canadian Dollar / Swiss Franc
CAD/CHF is the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the Swiss franc. The price shows how many Swiss francs one Canadian dollar buys: when CADCHF rises, the Canadian dollar is strengthening against the Swiss franc; when it falls, it is weakening.
CAD/CHF is a cross pair: neither side is the US dollar, so its price reflects the balance between Canada and Switzerland directly. The Canadian dollar is tied closely to oil, one of Canada's main exports, and to the US economy, its biggest trading partner. The Swiss franc is backed by Switzerland's stable economy and is widely treated as a safe-haven currency.
On Xellion's MT5 platform CADCHF is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 Canadian dollars, and one pip is 0.0001.

CADCHF questions
What does the CADCHF price mean?
It is the number of Swiss francs needed to buy one Canadian dollar. A rising price means the Canadian dollar is gaining against the Swiss franc; a falling price means it is losing ground.
When is CADCHF most active?
CADCHF trades around the clock on weekdays, but it is usually busiest during the London and New York sessions, and especially in the hours when the two sessions overlap. The forex market hours tool shows those sessions in your local time.
How much is one pip worth on CADCHF?
A pip on CADCHF is 0.0001. On one standard lot of 100,000 Canadian dollars that is 10 CHF per pip, converted into your account currency. The pip calculator works it out for any lot size.
How much margin do I need for one lot of CADCHF?
Margin is the position value divided by your leverage. One lot is 100,000 Canadian dollars, so at 1:500 you need 200 CAD and at 1:100 you need 1,000 CAD, converted into your account currency. Leverage up to 1:2000 is available depending on your account; the margin calculator gives the exact figure.
