About US Dollar / Danish Krone
USD/DKK is the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Danish krone. The price shows how many Danish kroner one US dollar buys: when USDDKK rises, the US dollar is strengthening against the Danish krone; when it falls, it is weakening.
USD/DKK is an exotic pair, combining a major currency with an emerging or smaller-market currency, so it usually trades with less liquidity and wider spreads than the majors and can move sharply around local news. The US dollar is the world's main reserve currency and sits on one side of most foreign-exchange trades. The Danish krone is held in a narrow band against the euro under the ERM II mechanism, so it tends to track the euro closely.
On Xellion's MT5 platform USDDKK is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 US dollars; the pip size and value are shown in the MT5 contract specification.

USDDKK questions
What does the USDDKK price mean?
It is the number of Danish kroner needed to buy one US dollar. A rising price means the US dollar is gaining against the Danish krone; a falling price means it is losing ground.
When is USDDKK most active?
USDDKK trades around the clock on weekdays, but it is usually busiest during the London and New York sessions, and especially in the hours when the two sessions overlap. The forex market hours tool shows those sessions in your local time.
How much is one pip worth on USDDKK?
Pip value on USDDKK depends on the pip size in the MT5 contract specification and on the Danish krone exchange rate against your account currency. Because Danish kroner are converted into your account currency, the value per pip changes as that rate moves.
How much margin do I need for one lot of USDDKK?
Margin is the position value divided by your leverage. One lot is 100,000 US dollars, so at 1:500 you need 200 USD and at 1:100 you need 1,000 USD, converted into your account currency. Leverage up to 1:2000 is available depending on your account; the margin calculator gives the exact figure.
