About Euro / Polish Zloty
EUR/PLN is the exchange rate between the euro and the Polish zloty. The price shows how many Polish zloty one euro buys: when EURPLN rises, the euro is strengthening against the Polish zloty; when it falls, it is weakening.
EUR/PLN is a minor or exotic cross, so it usually trades with less liquidity and wider spreads than the majors and can move sharply around local news. The euro is the shared currency of the euro-area countries and is the second most widely held reserve currency. The Polish zloty is the currency of central Europe's largest economy, with strong trade links to the euro area.
On Xellion's MT5 platform EURPLN is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 euros; the pip size and value are shown in the MT5 contract specification.
