About Euro / Danish Krone
EUR/DKK is the exchange rate between the euro and the Danish krone. The price shows how many Danish kroner one euro buys: when EURDKK rises, the euro is strengthening against the Danish krone; when it falls, it is weakening.
EUR/DKK is a minor or exotic cross, so it usually trades with less liquidity and wider spreads than the majors and can move sharply around local news. The euro is the shared currency of the euro-area countries and is the second most widely held reserve currency. The Danish krone is held in a narrow band against the euro under the ERM II mechanism, so it tends to track the euro closely.
On Xellion's MT5 platform EURDKK is traded as a CFD, so you can go long or short without exchanging either currency. One standard lot is 100,000 euros; the pip size and value are shown in the MT5 contract specification.

EURDKK questions
What does the EURDKK price mean?
It is the number of Danish kroner needed to buy one euro. A rising price means the euro is gaining against the Danish krone; a falling price means it is losing ground.
When is EURDKK most active?
Like all major FX pairs, EURDKK trades around the clock on weekdays, but it is usually busiest during the London session, when markets for both currencies are open.
How much is one pip worth on EURDKK?
Pip value on EURDKK depends on the pip size in the MT5 contract specification and on the Danish krone exchange rate against your account currency. Because Danish kroner are converted into your account currency, the value per pip changes as that rate moves.
How much margin do I need for one lot of EURDKK?
Margin is the position value divided by your leverage. One lot is 100,000 euros, so at 1:500 you need 200 EUR and at 1:100 you need 1,000 EUR, converted into your account currency. Leverage up to 1:2000 is available depending on your account; the margin calculator gives the exact figure.
