Volume profile
Volume profile displays recorded volume by price level over a selected period, rather than by time. It highlights areas with relatively heavy or light activity, including the highest-volume level, called the point of control. Its accuracy and coverage depend on the underlying trade or tick data.
In a hypothetical session profile, more volume appears around 100 than around 102. The display identifies heavier historical activity near 100, not guaranteed support there.
