TRADING GLOSSARY
Requote
A requote occurs when a broker offers a different price instead of executing a request at the originally quoted price. Under execution methods that use requotes, the trader can accept or reject the new quote; it is not an executed trade by itself.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical example, a trader requests a buy at 1.1000 and receives a new quote of 1.1002. The trade requires acceptance under the applicable execution rules.
