Renko chart
A Renko chart displays bricks when price moves by a specified amount, rather than drawing a candle for every fixed time interval. Brick size may be fixed or volatility-based, and reversal rules vary; the chart filters smaller movements but can hide timing and intrabrick price changes.
In a hypothetical fixed-size Renko chart with an upward brick ending at 100 and brick size 2, a rise to 104 can add two upward bricks.
