Chaikin money flow
Chaikin money flow (CMF) weights each period's volume by where the close lies within its high-low range, then divides the sum by total volume over a chosen window. Positive readings suggest accumulation pressure; negative readings suggest distribution pressure. Results depend on the volume data available.
For a hypothetical window, weighted volume totals 240 and total volume is 1,200. CMF is 0.20, indicating that volume-weighted closes tended toward the upper parts of their ranges.
