TRADING GLOSSARY
Win rate
Win rate is the percentage of trades in a defined sample that finish with a profit. Its meaning depends on how costs and breakeven trades are treated, and a high win rate alone does not establish profitability.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical sample of 50 closed trades, 30 are profitable after costs and 20 lose money. The win rate is 30 ÷ 50 × 100 = 60%.
