TRADING GLOSSARY
Trade journal
A trade journal is a personal record of trading decisions, results, and observations. It can include entry and exit details, reasons for taking a trade, and reflections on execution, helping distinguish the trading process from the outcome.
EXAMPLE
In an illustrative journal entry, a trader records why they entered a position, where they placed their stop-loss, and whether they followed their original plan.
