TRADING GLOSSARY
Triple bottom
A triple bottom is a chart pattern in which price tests a similar support area three times after a decline. A move above the resistance formed by the intervening rebounds is commonly interpreted as a possible bullish reversal, but it does not guarantee further gains.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical chart, price rebounds from the same support area three times, then moves above the peaks between those lows.
