TRADING GLOSSARY
Timeframe
A timeframe is the interval represented by each bar or candlestick on a time-based chart. Changing it alters how price activity is grouped and displayed, rather than changing the underlying instrument or its trading conditions.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical chart comparison, each candle on an hourly chart represents one hour, while each candle on a daily chart represents one trading day.
