Marubozu
A marubozu is a candlestick with a long real body and no shadows, or only very small ones. A bullish version opens near the low and closes near the high; a bearish version does the reverse, showing directional pressure during that period rather than predicting the next one.
For a hypothetical bullish marubozu, the open and low are both 100, while the close and high are both 108. The candle therefore has a body with no shadows.
