Dividend
A dividend is a distribution a company makes to eligible shareholders, usually in cash but sometimes as additional shares. Dividends are not guaranteed and may be reduced or cancelled; holding a share CFD does not confer shareholder ownership.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical cash distribution, an eligible shareholder holding 200 shares receives £40 before tax when the company pays £0.20 per share.
