TRADING GLOSSARY
Deposit
A deposit is money paid into a trading account through an accepted funding method. Once credited, it increases the account balance; processing times, currency conversion, verification requirements, and any charges depend on the provider and payment method.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical account with a USD 500 balance, a USD 200 deposit credited without fees raises the balance to USD 700, assuming no other activity.
