TRADING GLOSSARY
Account currency
Account currency is the currency used to report a trading account’s balance, equity, and financial results. Profits, losses, or charges arising in another currency may be converted into it using the provider’s applicable conversion method.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical USD account, a realised profit of EUR 100 converts to USD 110 at an assumed rate of USD 1.10 per euro, before conversion charges.
