Williams percent range
Williams percent range, also called Williams %R, measures where the latest close sits within the highest-high to lowest-low range over a chosen period. Its scale runs from minus 100 to zero. Readings near either end indicate relative price extremes rather than guaranteed turning points.
With a hypothetical period high of 120, low of 100, and close of 115, Williams %R is −25: the close is one-quarter of the range below the high.
