Strategy Tester
Strategy Tester is a MetaTrader tool for evaluating automated trading strategies using historical price data and specified testing assumptions. It can also compare parameter settings through optimisation, but simulated results depend on data quality and may differ from live trading.
In an illustrative test, a user selects an Expert Advisor, a currency pair and a historical period, then reviews simulated trades and drawdown.
