TRADING GLOSSARY
Script
A script is a program designed to perform a specific task when launched in a trading platform. In MetaTrader, scripts generally run once per launch rather than continuously responding to market updates, and may carry out administrative or trading actions.
EXAMPLE
In an illustrative workflow, a user launches a script to export chart data to a file. The script finishes after completing that task.
