TRADING GLOSSARY
One-cancels-the-other order
A one-cancels-the-other order links two orders so that execution of one cancels the other. It can pair alternative entries or exit orders. Cancellation timing and treatment of partial fills depend on the platform's rules.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical setup, a sell limit at $110 and a sell stop at $95 are linked. When the limit fills, the stop is cancelled.
