TRADING GLOSSARY
Netting account
A netting account combines trades in the same instrument into a single net position. A trade in the opposite direction reduces, closes, or reverses that position, rather than creating a separate opposing position as a hedging account may allow.
EXAMPLE
In a hypothetical netting account, buying 1 lot of EUR/USD and then selling 0.4 lots leaves a net long position of 0.6 lots.
