Ichimoku cloud
Ichimoku cloud is a charting system combining five lines to describe trend, momentum, and potential support and resistance. Two lines form a shaded cloud plotted ahead of current prices, while another is plotted behind. These offsets organise historical calculations rather than predict future prices.
On a hypothetical chart, price moves above the cloud while the cloud remains thin. The display suggests an upward trend context, but does not establish that further gains will follow.
